From the beginning of each of my campaigns for Congress, I've been running against the machine. This election is no different.

A lot of entrenched interests are afraid of a progressive woman who champions workers and environmental progress. They'll do whatever they deem necessary to silence my voice.

We must be prepared for the attacks that are coming our way before the primary election, and that's why we've got to meet our January fundraising goal of $15,000. Will you give any amount to help us raise $4,030 more before our deadline tomorrow night?

This is our first major fundraising benchmark of the election year. We must meet it to show our strength for the road ahead.

The work we've done in January to start our field canvasses and grow our team is making a difference, but we have to be able to sustain it going forward – especially when the attacks against us start.

We need to keep hitting our goals so we can take Marie's pro-union and pro-working family message across the new IL-06. Will you chip in so we have the resources for outreach in the days and weeks ahead?
