Two years into the deadly pandemic, Kansas Republicans continue to tout misinformation and conspiracy theories regarding COVID-19 and vaccines.

Even though Kansas currently has the 4th highest rate of new cases in the country, one Republican state senator went so far as to ask the secretary of KDHE to purposefully sow the "seed of doubt" about the safety of vaccines. This language is dangerous and is harming Kansans.

Additionally, Kansas Republicans are still spewing their lies that ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine can be used to treat COVID-19. The FDA and CDC have both said this is false and these drugs can be dangerous if used to treat the coronavirus. Yet, Kansas Republicans are going so far as to pass laws that would remove liability from doctors who prescribe these drugs and require pharmacists to fill those prescriptions even if they think it could harm the patient.
