For as long as we’ve known each other, John and I have always shared a strong belief in the transformative power of public education as a vehicle for social change. 

Education saved John’s life when he was a kid, and that experience fuels so much of what my husband does – from advocating for equity to making sure opportunity exists for more than just those at the top – and I know it will fuel his plans to prioritize equity in everything he does as governor.
