I won't sugarcoat things: Working in Congress is no piece of cake. Teaching 11th graders Chemistry was the hardest job I've ever had, but this is a close second. I didn't run for office, though, because I thought it would be easy; I ran because I wanted to make life better for our community, our Commonwealth, and for you, friend. 

But there's a little snag in this goal: the GOP. While I've dedicated my life to moving us forward, too many in the Republican Party want to take us back. From fighting (still!) the results of the 2020 election to passing gerrymandered maps, this kind of leadership is dangerous to the country and to Pennsylvania. Will you give $5 or more now to keep PA-06 and the House blue so I can continue fighting for progress for you and your family?

Instead of working to solve some of the biggest challenges of our time – climate change is just one example – we are fighting about mask mandates and the last election. 

That's why the GOP has put a target on my back – and there have already been digital, TV, and radio ads attacking me. On top of that, my two self-funding opponents have dumped more than half a million dollars into their own campaigns.

I hate to say it, but money talks. It spins narratives. It spreads falsehoods.

To get ahead of these attacks and spread our positive message, my team set a goal of raising $7,500 before the end of the month. Hitting this goal is crucial in getting phone banks activated, running ads, and mobilizing voters, and just 10 months from Election Day, this goal could set us up for success – or failure.
