Check this out! Go, Texas! The US Small Business Administration reports that 99.8% of all Texas businesses are in the small business category (less than 500 employees), and these businesses employ 45% (4.8 million) of all Texas workers. Hard working, risk-taking entrepreneurs with conservative values are the bedrock of our state’s proud traditions and economy, and it is imperative that that this group of patriots has a voice and place within our organization that is visible to our elected officials and to TTP members who want to support these businesses. That’s why we are pleased to announce that we are launching the first True Texas Entrepreneurs group! The launch will be for the Dallas/Fort Worth area for now, but we hope to expand to other locations. Interested? This group is open to the principal owners of all companies employing workers in the DFW area. The mission is to provide a forum for conservative business owners in DFW where they can:
- meet and support each other
- share and learn about business issues that impact them
- have access to our elected officials at the local, state, and national level
Meetings will be held monthly, and as with all TTP groups, there will be no fees to attend. The group is forming now, and the first meeting will take place in March in the Colleyville area. If you’re interested, please contact the group chairman Craig Hathaway at (817) 805-8129 or [email protected] for more information. |
