John, a lot of things keep me up at night. But the most terrifying of them all? The prospect of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade this term.
If the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade, 24 states are vulnerable to immediate prohibitions on abortion entirely. And I live in one of them. In 5 states and 2 territories, abortion may continue to be accessible — but would be unprotected by state and district law.
Our slim Democratic majority cannot save reproductive rights alone. We have to expand our Senate majority in the midterms to end the destructive Jim Crow filibuster that has blocked so many opportunities to protect abortion access AND expand the Supreme Court.
So I'm asking directly: Can you contribute $5 or any amount toward our Working Families Majority Fund January goal of 5,000 contributions by midnight tomorrow so we have the resources to elect more candidates who will fight for working people — and our reproductive rights — in the Senate?

WFP's strategy to ensure abortion rights is in our DNA, John. We work to elect leaders who will stand up for abortion rights and when we talk about a world where everyone's needs are met, access to abortion and reproductive care — whether that's contraception or termination — is a part of that.
That's why we're supporting candidates like Mandela Barnes in Wisconsin, Charles Booker in Kentucky, and Malcolm Kenyatta in Pennsylvania. If elected, they could be a strong progressive force in the Senate and help break the grip of two "Democratic" senators who shall not be named getting in the way of the change we need.
We're already mobilizing volunteers and preparing to turn out voters in these primaries, but we need your help to do it. Can you contribute $5 or any amount to our Working Families Majority Fund before midnight on Monday? Right now is the time your investment in our work will make the biggest difference as we scale up our efforts:
