Hey John, I hope you’re having a great weekend.

I’m Jeff, Val’s husband, and I wanted to reach out before tomorrow night’s big deadline.

Val and I first met in Philly at an event supporting the arts. For our first date, we biked from the Art Museum to Valley Forge National Park (where we still hike to this day). It didn’t take long for me to see the passionate, determined, and hardworking person she is shining through.

Jeff and Val

It’s been a few years since our first date, but in that time, I’ve gotten a front row seat to watching Val accomplish incredible things for Pennsylvanians.

We need more people like Val in the Senate — leaders who have the courage to fight for what’s right, no matter what.

If you’re able, will you make a donation to help elect my wife, Dr. Valerie Arkoosh, to the U.S. Senate? We can’t do it without you:

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

I know Val, and her commitment to helping others speaks for itself.

I watched her put her patients’ needs above her own when she was a physician — even if it meant long nights and late dinners.

I watched her take the train to D.C. several times a week to fight for health care for millions of Americans and help pass the Affordable Care Act.

And when she became chair of Pennsylvania’s third-largest county, I’ve watched as she’s done everything in her power to make folks’ lives easier — everything from raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour for county employees to passing paid parental leave for county employees.

None of these things were easy, but Val doesn’t quit until the job’s done. It’s time we had more forward-thinking leaders like Val in the Senate, and we have one of our best shots to do it this election.

Val’s team is hoping for a few more donations before the deadline in less than 48 hours. Will you pitch in now to help Val flip Pennsylvania blue?

I’m so proud of Val and I’m even more excited for her to make history as the first woman physician in the Senate. I hope you’ll join our team to make it happen.

Thanks,

Jeff
