Hi John,
“We are a Christian country. And the Founders were—definitely—and our founding documents were written under prayer each day of the writing.”
That was Joan Lindsey. Her foundation has poured at least $500,000 into white Christian Nationalist organizations like Faith Wins. It’s a ton of money. And it’s being used to recruit pro-Trump pastors to run for office and command their flocks to advance an anti-democratic, theistic agenda.
We’ve got until tomorrow to reach our 100 donor goal to counter these efforts, and we’re still short 33 donors.
Will you contribute $10 or more to support our work this year recruiting and supporting candidates who will fight back against this well-funded Christian Nationalist threat?
If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: |

While we may not have the Lindsey Foundation’s funding, we have a majority of Americans on our side. 54% of Americans support a strong separation of church and state. 69% believe the U.S. should never declare an official religion. And the number of Americans who consider themselves atheist, agnostic, or of no particular faith is growing, from 19% in 2011 to 29% today.
Your gift will immediately go to turn these majorities into real political power. Help us expand our work to recruit, support, and elect humanists and atheists who believe science, reason, and compassion should be used to shape public policy.
I’ll be checking the donor roles, and I hope to see your name there. We need your help to fund our midterm year efforts.
Thank you for your support.
