John,

I hope everyone is staying safe, dry, and warm on this snowy Saturday…

Did you catch my interview this morning on Fox & Friends? We spoke about the tragic shooting of NYPD Detective Jason Rivera, and why it’s yet another reminder how much our selfless, dedicated men and women in blue are HEROES who deserve to be celebrated - not attacked.
In case you missed it, here’s the interview:
The Rivera family’s powerful words echoed the feelings of New York families across the state - they are tired, angry, and frustrated with their elected officials refusing to have their backs.

When Kathy Hochul and Alvin Bragg continue to put forward their “shared vision” - namely, keeping their “Criminals for Kathy” coalition out of prison rather than standing on the side of public safety - it hurts all of us.

And it’s only going to continue unless we repeal cashless bail and the Less is More Act, pass a law enforcement bill of rights, protect qualified immunity, fire radical district attorneys who refuse to enforce the law, and overall provide police officers with the tools they need to safely do their jobs.

As Governor of New York, I will unapologetically, proudly BACK THE BLUE!

These are selfless heroes who will give up their lives not just for family, but for all New Yorkers. I hope you’ll join me to make sure they are supported, and that our communities are finally kept safe.

SUPPORT THE MISSION TODAY!
Thank you for standing with our law enforcement heroes,
Lee Zeldin
