Sutherland Springs. Sandy Hook. Aurora. A church, a school, and a theater where innocent people were killed in mass shootings fueled by high-capacity magazines.

Matt Vadnal is a veteran and former Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Snohomish County. He knows firsthand the power of semi-automatic assault rifles and high-capacity magazines. And he knows that they have no place in our communities.

High-capacity magazines, which hold more than 10 rounds, were designed for the battlefield, not our neighborhoods. They make already-deadly weapons even more lethal. No one needs a 100-round drum magazine for self-defense.

Prohibiting excessively large capacity magazines will help reduce the devastation of shootings. It will save lives. We are working tirelessly right now to get this commonsense policy passed. But we are being drowned out by a small, very vocal minority that is doing everything it can to stop us.

We’ve proven that we can beat our gun lobby opposition, but we won’t be able to do it without your support. Please, contribute today and help us prohibit high-capacity magazines and save lives.

In gratitude,
