First, after publicly admitting that the insurrection on January 6th was an assault on our democracy, Fitzpatrick then reversed course under Republican pressure and OPPOSED creating the bipartisan January 6th commission.

Now, Republican leaders are warning that if they take back control of the House, they’ll pursue an extremist agenda that attempts to incarcerate members of Congress who have been investigating the insurrection.
