I’m a Pennsylvanian. I was raised here, and my wife Lori and I are raising our four kids here. I’ve spent my career serving the people of our Commonwealth, as a State Representative, a County Commissioner, and now as the People’s Attorney General.

I’ve won tough elections, flipping Pennsylvania’s third-largest county from Republican control for the first time since the Civil War. In 2016 and 2020 — years where our Party suffered tough losses — I earned more votes than any other candidate on the ballot.

The pundits and the press will tell us over and over again how Democrats face a tough election year in 2022, and they’re right. But as Pennsylvania Democrats, we have a great story to tell about how we will move our Commonwealth forward — and we’re ready to knock doors, make calls, and outwork our opponents.

I’m humbled to have the endorsement of the PA Democratic Party in my campaign for Governor. We need all hands on deck to keep our Commonwealth blue in 2022, and I’m ready to work hard with this team to make it happen.

During this campaign and as your next Governor, I’m going to take my cues from people in West Philly and Washington County — not Washington, DC. Because my fellow Pennsylvania Democrats and I aren’t working for the powerful and well-connected — we’re working for you.

We’re facing unprecedented challenges here in Pennsylvania — but Pennsylvania Democrats are delivering.

The fact is, our Republican-led Legislature puts Donald Trump and an extremist, conservative agenda ahead of Pennsylvanians — and that’s why Pennsylvania Democrats and I have fought back. I’ve taken on Trump and his cronies time and time again, and won — and our Democrats are holding the line in the Legislature, and vetoing Republican attempts to roll back our rights and undermine our democracy.

They’re trying to take us backward — but we won’t let that happen.

I’ve spent my career taking on the big and powerful, whether it was taking on the powerful and well-connected to protect health care for nearly two million Western Pennsylvanians or taking on the Catholic Church to get accountability for survivors after decades of sexual abuse and cover ups.

As Pennsylvania’s Governor, I’ll keep taking on those big fights. I’ll fight to defend your right to vote, I’ll fight to defend access to abortion, and I’ll fight to defend our democracy — right here in the birthplace of our nation.

With PA Dems, we’ll work hard to elect Democrats at every level of the ballot — from the Governor’s office to the state legislature. Pennsylvania will only improve if we have people in office who will protect your most fundamental rights and who will work for you .
