South Carolinians can trust that Mia will address the systemic factors that disproportionately impact Black and brown people.
Team,
Having served as South Carolina’s first director of the Violence Against Women Act Project and the state’s top Victim Advocate, Mia’s deeply familiar with our criminal justice system — and its weaknesses.
Mia will bring the same collaborative, bipartisan, multidisciplinary approach she’s used throughout her career to the governor’s office to push for meaningful criminal justice reform.
South Carolinians can trust that Mia will address the systemic factors that disproportionately impact Black and brown people, and create unsafe environments for all people. But first, we have to get her to the governor’s office.
