A lot has changed since I won re-election in Virginia’s 7th District. With redrawn district lines, there are eight new localities in VA-07. In this district, we saw Republican momentum grow during the 2021 gubernatorial election, and our new Republican Governor won the district by 5.5 points!

National Republican groups see opportunity in districts like ours to pick up a seat and ultimately regain control of the House. I’m confident we’ll do what we’ve done in the last two elections – win in one of the most competitive districts in the nation.

That being said, I want to talk for a moment about the stakes of retaining control of Congress. The threats facing our democracy are unfortunately multiplying, and losing the House could give way to restricted access to our polls and a suppressed investigation into the Jan. 6 insurrection.

I know as well as you do that we can’t afford to head in that direction as a country, which is why I’m standing up for integrity in Congress and campaigning hard to continue my work there. To support that work, will you consider investing in our campaign today?
