John -- In what appears to be an effort to rally the Trump-Republican base, right-wing Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently released his own version of gerrymandered maps for consideration.
It’s no surprise to us that the DeSantis proposal is even more gerrymandered than the preliminary maps drawn by extreme, GOP legislators in the Florida House.

A.G. Holder rightfully warned us that in Florida, “we’ve now entered the thick of the redistricting process.” But the fight for fair maps isn’t just happening in the Sunshine State.
Right now, we’re supporting voters in places like Ohio and Texas who’ve filed lawsuits against their state’s gerrymandered maps -- and we’re winning! The Ohio Supreme Court just forced GOP map drawers to redraw their original gerrymandered maps.
Without grassroots support, we wouldn’t be able to accomplish major redistricting wins in places like Ohio or gear up to stop map manipulators like Gov. DeSantis who have shown intent to gerrymander the Sunshine State.
