Hey,

Thirteen years ago, the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009 was signed into law. This landmark bill was intended to help close the pay gap by giving workers more time to hold their employers accountable for pay discrimination.

But today, American women still only earn about 83 cents for every dollar made by a man working the same job. In Pennsylvania, the average is even worse: just 79 cents on the dollar. And most workers don't even have access to the data they need to determine whether they may be the victim of discrimination.

Senator Casey co-sponsored the Paycheck Fairness Act in the Senate to hold employers accountable and make it harder for them to hide wage discrimination. The House has already passed a version of the bill, but Senate Republicans voted to block it.

Will you join Bob in telling Senate Republicans to stop obstructing the Paycheck Fairness Act and make pay equity a reality? Add your name now.

Pay discrimination of any kind is completely unacceptable.

It’s not only unfair and unjust to those who face discrimination -- it deprives families of vital income that can be used to feed children, buy or rent a home, and make our communities stronger.

None of us can afford to let wage discrimination continue. Help Bob ensure that the Paycheck Fairness Act can finally become law.

Add your name now, and tell Senate Republicans: "Stop obstructing the Paycheck Fairness Act and stop wage discrimination."
