John,
In just a matter of days, our movement will face our first big challenge of the 2022 midterm election cycle.
Three of our WFP-endorsed candidates for Congress — Jessica Cisneros, Jasmine Crockett, and Greg Casar — are on the March 1 primary ballot in Texas, and early voting starts in just two weeks.
Jessica, Jasmine, and Greg are ready to fight and deliver on progressive and popular policies for working people like raising wages, passing Medicare for All, addressing the climate crisis, and protecting abortion access. But they’re depending on a big voter turnout — and what we’re able to raise before the end of January will make a big difference in how many voters we can reach next month as early voting starts.
We’ve set a goal of 5,000 individual grassroots contributions before the first monthly deadline of the year this Monday at midnight in order to turn out as many voters as possible in Texas and other early primary states. Can you make a contribution toward our Working Families Majority Fund before the end of the month? Every contribution makes a difference, and your support allows us to scale up our organizing and reach as many voters as possible:

Too many voters in Texas and other states are being represented in Congress by politicians who answer to corporate donors, not working people.
And time and time again, we’ve seen those same corporate interests flood primaries with last-minute infusions of cash to attack strong progressive candidates so they can preserve the status quo.
But if we can raise the resources to drive high turnout in Jasmine’s, Jessica’s, and Greg’s primaries by making sure voters know what’s at stake and how they can cast their ballots, we know their messages will win out.
We can win in Texas, but only if we turn out as many voters as possible. Will you be one of the 5,000 WFP supporters to join our fight by contributing $3 or any amount before Monday at midnight?

The primary season is just starting — and early elections like these will be a big test of our movement and our ability to win. Let’s get it done.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
