Last weekend, David Vernon, our VA Deputy Representative in Orlando, passed away. For those that knew David, you know the incredible passion he had for serving the veteran community. He truly encompassed the meaning of an Angel for so many. Rest in peace, David. Below is a message shared from his wife, Jackie, along with a graphic we shared of him during Volunteer Week 2021: "All-- wanted you to be aware David Vernon passed away earlier this morning. Know that each one of you meant the world to him. There aren't any formal services. He requested people donate their time to the vets versus time on him. I will be taking his ashes to Paris where we met with his family in the near future. XX His loving wife." - Jackie A Message to Military Caregivers: Take Care of You TooWhat do you do when your partner returns from deployment wounded? You drop everything to care for them.
