Friend, it's Gary. This grassroots team is a key part of how I help push legislation through. I wanted to tell you all about some of my recent work in the Senate and get your opinion on this issue.

You see, I've been investigating how toxic Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) have not been properly cleaned up across the country. 

These chemicals can have serious health effects, and now they're contaminating our local water supplies as well as fish and wildlife. This is putting both our communities and the environment at serious risk.

Here in the Senate, I'm holding hearings and holding officials accountable to ensure contamination sites are cleaned up as soon as possible. 

But as one of my top supporters, I want to know where you stand on this issue. So please, before 11:59 p.m. tonight, could you let me know whether this is an important issue to you and your family? Your response will really help guide my work here in the Senate.
