We can’t wait until November to fight back State legislators are mostly anti-choice, but we can change that 17 State Senate seats and all 99 State House seats are up for re-election. These seats are dominated by Republicans who introduced 5 anti-choice pieces of legislation, and the State House determines Congressional redistricting. One of our top priorities When the Supreme Court dismantles Roe v. Wade, Ohio will likely ban or even more severely limit abortion. That's why Ohio remains one of our top priorities. Getting abortion care in Ohio: it's not simple! Patients must: Find a licensed physician at one of the 9 clinics in Ohio Observe a medically unnecessary 24 hour waiting period between mandated counseling and the actual procedure, meaning two trips and twice the cost And even then, just like in Texas and Georgia: Providers can STILL refuse service! Help fund our programming in Ohio We can elect prochoice champions that will stop harmful voting and abortion restrictions at their source. But we need your help to flip these seats!
