My team reached out yesterday to introduce our $110,000 End-of-Month goal. I wanted you to hear directly from me why it’s so important that we hit this goal, and to humbly ask for you to make a contribution.

Here is why your contribution is so important:

Because this is our very first deadline of the year, the amount we raise by Monday at midnight will set the tone for our fundraising throughout 2022.

As you know, this year’s midterm elections are an opportunity to protect and expand our Democratic majority, which will allow us to keep making progress on the issues we all care about — like protecting key benefits for Veterans and military families and supporting working families through the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

But if we lose our Senate majority, Mitch McConnell will be Senate Majority Leader once again — and he’ll be able to obstruct each and every component of President Biden’s agenda.

So it’s important that we start the year on a high note, and that’s why my team has set this $110,000 goal. But we will not be able to hit it without your help, so I am asking:

Can you rush in a contribution of $5, or any amount you can afford, before our deadline on Monday, January 31st at midnight? I would not ask if it wasn’t so important.
