Happy Kansas Day!

On this day 161 years ago, Kansas joined the Union as the Free State. Since then, we’ve upheld the values of freedom and justice for all Kansans.

Today, we celebrate our great state’s rich history. From John Brown to Dwight D. Eisenhauer to Amelia Earhart to Brown v. Topeka Board of Education, Kansas has lived up to its motto — Ad Astra Per Aspera!

We all hope you have a very happy and healthy Kansas Day!
