John,

When I became a Senator, I was underestimated. The GOP called me the “accidental Senator” and doubted my ability to deliver for Coloradans.

Now, I’m running for reelection and this cycle I secured tax cuts for working families; helped keep nearly 4 million kids out of poverty; and secured critical investments in our roads, bridges and internet infrastructure.

I was once underestimated, so I know doubting your opponents is a mistake and this won't be an easy race. We’re up against Republicans’ war chest, seven opponents and soon millions of dollars worth of attack ads.

But I’ve seen this grassroots team step up in critical moments, including my last midterm election that I won by a hair. In the months leading up to Election Day, we’ll need to hire and train organizers, quickly respond to attacks, and mobilize voters statewide. Your support makes this election-winning work possible, and giving early goes much farther than a donation made later on in this campaign.

I know the true power of this grassroots team. So, I have to ask: Will you start this election year off strong by splitting a donation between my reelection effort and Amy Klobuchar? I’m counting on folks like you to build on the progress we made last year.

Thank you. Let’s build together,

Michael
