I am writing to you today to tell you about why I am supporting Robert White for Mayor and to ask you to join me tomorrow to hear about Robert's vision for the District. 
 
Robert is running to restore trust in local government and find bold solutions to the problems facing our city. A lifelong Washingtonian, Robert knows where our city has fallen short and is committed to bringing people together to build a stronger DC. 
 
In office, Robert has brought real results for DC residents, including authoring landmark legislation to increase the quality and affordability of early childhood education, and the nationally recognized Restore the Vote Amendment Act, which made DC the first jurisdiction to restore voting rights to thousands of men and women incarcerated with felony convictions. He has expanded workforce programs for people with the highest barriers to employment and has crafted innovative legislation to address our city’s affordable housing crisis.
 
Robert has a vision for a DC that works for all of our residents and believes we can be a city that is not only wealthy, but wealthy and just.
