I’ll cut right to the chase of why I’m emailing and asking for your help, John: I actually might not make it back to Congress next year without your support. 

Georgia Republicans have tried to eliminate me from Congress using their undemocratic tactics, but I refuse to let them win. So, before our first fundraising deadline of 2022 on Monday night, I need your help to make sure I can return to Congress.

FIRST: Republicans tried their best to eliminate me from Congress, moving my old district a full 26 points towards Trump.

THEN: I refused to step aside. I am running for re-election in the newly drawn Democratic district in the Atlanta suburbs, where I’ll be on the ballot in a must-win election in May.  

NOW: In one of the most diverse districts in the country, we need to make sure voters know about my accomplishments in Congress.

As of today, there are less than four months to go until election day, and the press is calling this is one of the most competitive elections in the entire country. Our first fundraising deadline of 2022 is coming up fast on Monday night, John. We've set an ambitious goal of $15,000 raised online.
