When I decided to run for Congress in 2017, I wasn’t sure what the future would hold.

I knew that I had a calling for public service, and I knew that I wanted to serve my community in the place I called home. What I didn’t know was if I had what it took to win.

But then I started organizing and receiving donations. It was like the snowball effect – slow at first, and then it got bigger and bigger. People weren’t just believing in my vision or my experience, they were believing in me.

I took a risk running for office, and I’m proud to say it paid off.

Now, I’m here today writing you this email about my re-election campaign for a third term in the new MI-11. I’m taking another risk, on the cusp of making history in MI-11 by becoming the first Democrat ever elected to three consecutive terms , and I’m asking for your support.
