I’m not much of a morning person, but I’m up early to go over our fundraising numbers before Elaine’s end-of-month deadline hits in two days.
Right now, we’re about $10,235 from our $40,000 goal, and honestly I’m worried we won’t be able to reach it. If we don’t reach our goal, we’ll have to make budget cuts and sacrifice key elements of our campaign strategy.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee just announced that VA-02 is a frontline district, which means it's officially one of the most important races in the entire country. We can't afford to fall short.
Will you help get us there by chipping in $5 or whatever you can before our urgent end-of-month deadline?
John, we set this $40,000 fundraising goal for the month because we ran the numbers and calculated that $40,000 was the minimum we needed to raise in order to have the resources to introduce Elaine to new voters in her district, train volunteers, and get Elaine’s ad program off the ground.
Let me reiterate – $40,000 is the minimum amount we need to be able to fulfill our campaign strategy. We can’t afford to fall short.
