The other day, former GOP Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich said publicly that the members of Congress on the committee to investigate the January 6 insurrection should be threatened with jail time if Republicans take back control of the House this November.

Yes, you read that right: Republican leaders are threatening legal action against the elected officials who are working to uncover the truth about a major threat to our government and democracy. The stakes are too high; we cannot let Republicans win the House majority in the midterm elections.
