Team Lander’s first month in office is coming to a close—and it’s been a busy one! After Brad took his oath of office, we rolled up our sleeves and got right to work.
Today, Brad and his Transition Committee, led by co-chairs Carol Kellermann and Mark Winston Griffith, released a report detailing our goals for strengthening the tools of the office to make government work better and advance our priorities of recovery, equity, and resiliency. To hear more about the priorities in our Transition Report, watch Brad’s interview on New York 1! [[link removed]]

In writing this report and thinking through our priorities, Team Lander kept coming back to the same idea: collaboration.
We know that a government working in partnership with stakeholders and directly impacted communities, produces far better outcomes than a top-down, go-it-alone style. Our success at making government work better will be in large part dependent on what we learn from you. We started this process with our Public Service Satisfaction Survey [[link removed]] and listening tours, and will continue to collaborate with you.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
With hope,
Team Lander
