This week marks the anniversaries of three major Trump-era policies that
continue to harm our communities to this day:

- The implementation of Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy , which continues under the Biden administration, denying migrants access to
asylum, while returning them to danger.
- The first discriminatory Muslim Ban that denied life-saving care, derailed careers and studies, and tore apart
families — many of whom have yet to be reunited.
- The Supreme Court allowed Trump’s Public Charge immigrant “wealth test,” to go into effect denying immigrants access to the
health and social support benefits they were eligible for — even during the
pandemic.

Elections matter. A historic multi-racial and multi-generational coalition
elected the Biden administration, who promised to undo the previous
administration’s divisive and anti-immigrant agenda. The Biden administration has the responsibility to take bold action to address
the harms millions of people suffered under Trump, while also restoring hope and
stability for immigrant communities. During this unique moment to make real change, we’re asking you to help us urge
the Biden administration to act.

, join us in taking action this week to demand President
Biden fulfill his promises to build a more humane 21st-century immigration
system:

When Trump’s first Muslim Ban was issued, we stood shoulder-to-shoulder with our
Muslim neighbors. We fought to restore full access to asylum after the inhumane
“Remain in Mexico” policy was first announced. We condemned the “wealth test”
that targeted low-income immigrants. And we’re still fighting for the justice these inhumane policies denied so many
people.

Immigrants are a strength to our nation. Until we build a just, equitable
society for all of us including immigrants, our work – and the Biden
administration’s work – is not done.

Renew your resolve to support immigrants by participating in our week of action
