Hi John,
I’m reaching out today to ask you to make a donation to help power Voto Latino’s voter registration work [[link removed]] ahead of the November midterms. Let me tell you why.
As California’s first Latino senator, I understand the importance of activating the political power of Latino communities -- and Voto Latino gets that too. Their work registering, organizing, and mobilizing Latinos was instrumental to flipping swing states like Arizona and Georgia for Democrats in 2020.
Because of Voto Latino, Democrats were able to win the House, Senate, and White House in 2020. Now, they need our help to replicate this successful strategy in 2022. Will you pitch in?
I’m proud of the work I’ve done in the Senate so far, but there’s still so much more to do. We must take action to protect voting rights, fight climate change, bring down healthcare costs, and more. But none of that will be possible unless we defend our House and Senate majorities in November.
That’s why I’m asking you to donate to support Voto Latino. [[link removed]] When it comes to getting Latino communities registered and turned out to vote, the folks at Voto Latino are experts . But their work is powered by grassroots support, which means they count on small-dollar donations from folks like you.
So please, chip in now to help Voto Latino build the movement to power Democratic victories this November. I hope I can count on you. [[link removed]]
Thank you,
Senator Padilla
