John, I wanted to share a story about my dad.

As the son of immigrants, my father worked hard to earn a degree and get his first job at General Electric. During World War II he served in the Army helping to manufacture ammunition and other critical supplies, then went on to own his own business.

Even when he was working hard to support our family, he still made time to spend time with his kids. I remember being six years old sitting at the kitchen table solving the “problem of the day” with him.

My dad taught me the value of working hard and to put a little determination into everything I do. Those “problems of the day” were a lesson that you work any problem till you solve it, and I’ve carried that determination with me wherever I’ve gone.

In medical school and then working at Philadelphia teaching hospitals though, I never imagined that determination to solve problems would lead me to running to become the first woman to represent Pennsylvania in the U.S. Senate.

I knew this wouldn't be an easy race, but there are some real problems that need solving — and with your support, it’s a fight I’m proud to take on every single day.

Monday is our first fundraising deadline of 2022, and we’re about halfway to our goal of 1,000 grassroots donors. Before you log off for the weekend, will you pitch in to help move our campaign forward?

Because, folks, we’re up against a lot of BS this election year.

One opponent I refuse to sit back and let spread his bull is Dr. Oz, who could be on his way to becoming the Republican nominee. This is someone who’s served as a top Trump advisor and spent his TV career proudly pushing pseudoscience.

Quite honestly, I’m not sure how we both took the same oath when we became doctors. At a time when Pennsylvanians are facing real issues — like fights for voting rights and reproductive rights — Oz is more interested in expanding his TV brand and winning Trump’s endorsement.

Mehmet Oz has shown what his priorities are, and it’s definitely not Pennsylvanians. As the real doctor in the race, I’ve advocated for my patients for more than 20 years — and I’m ready to take that fight to the U.S. Senate.

It’ll take a strong grassroots movement to put facts over fiction in this race, which is why I’m reaching out.

I’m humbly asking for your support ahead of our January 31st deadline. Make a donation to help hit our 1,000 grassroots donor goal today >> [[link removed]]

Thank you for your support,
