Hi Friend,

We are Tee Hanible, Gunnery Sergeant (Ret), U.S. Marine Corps, and Michelle Eve Hurwitz, Lieutenant Commander, U.S. Navy Reserve. We are fellow combat veterans on the board of March On. We took an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. And on this Veterans Day 2019, we want you to know about March On Veterans.

March On Veterans is an affiliate of March On that exists to amplify the voices of those in the Resistance who have served in the American military. March On Veterans has the following missions:

  • Share the stories of the veterans who were part of the war machine and are now speaking out against the normalized violence.

  • Address and improve the mental health of our veterans, from PTSD to chronic pain to the epidemic of suicide. We are losing 20 veterans a day to suicide, all of them preventable.

  • Stem the tide of sexual assault and harassment that exists in the military culture, and speak loud truths to the power of the military industrial complex.

  • Amplify the voices of female veterans of color, the military community who has suffered most under this system of structural racism.

March On Veterans has so much work to do, and we need your help. Please donate and help our heroes be heard. Help us ensure that those who have sacrificed so much for our country have a chance to tell their story and change the mission of the American military for the better.

Respectfully,

Tee and Eve
