John,

Team Lightfoot has certainly hit the ground running in 2022.

We are proud to say that this year's City budget is the most progressive in Chicago's history. The mayor’s roadmap will help Chicago recover from the pandemic by focusing on equity and investments in our communities. Here are just a few ways this budget will impact Chicagoans:

• $635 million to maintain and expand affordable housing.

• Nearly $90 million to increase access to mental health support, including critical investments in our public mental health services.

• $150 million for youth services and jobs to expand employment and out-of-school programming opportunities.

• $202 million for homelessness initiatives.

We know that by working together we’ll continue to make a difference in this great city. That's why we're counting on your support, JohnCan we count on you to chip in $10 to make sure Mayor Lightfoot can continue her work to build a Chicago that works for all of us?

Every contribution made will help lay the groundwork for our long-term success, and prove the strength of the grassroots network we've built together.

Thank you for all that you do,

Team Lightfoot
