John,
Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer has officially announced his plans to retire later this year, giving President Biden the opportunity to nominate a replacement and make his mark on the Court.
During the 2020 campaign, Biden promised that if elected and given the opportunity, he would nominate a Black woman to the highest court in the nation.
Now, President Biden has reaffirmed that commitment, saying that his nominee "will be someone with extraordinary qualifications, character, experience, and integrity, and that person will be the first Black woman ever nominated to the United States Supreme Court. "
President Biden is expected to announce his nominee by the end of next month. Join us and a [[link removed]] dd your name to show your support for President Biden's historic plans to nominate a Black woman to the Supreme Court for the first time. [[link removed]]
