In case you missed it, team: Last week, I filed a brief with the North Carolina Supreme Court on behalf of Governor Roy Cooper and myself urging the Court to clarify that the North Carolina constitution prohibits partisan gerrymandering. 

Partisan gerrymandering distorts our democracy. It also violates our constitution, which guarantees that people are sovereign and our elections are free. 

One of the principal rules of a democratic government is that the people should choose their representatives — not the other way around. You deserve the full power of your vote to determine who represents you.
