The final installment in the LGBT Well-Being at the Intersection of Race report series examines racial differences among LGBT people in several areas of health and socioeconomic well-being. The study findings reflect enduring patterns of disparities along the lines of race, gender, and sexuality.

Join us for a discussion of the new book, “The Life and Afterlife of Gay Neighborhoods,” with co-editors Alex Bitterman and Daniel B. Hess. The book provides a framework for contemplating the future form and function of gay neighborhoods by examining their growth during the 1960s and 1970s, durability during the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and current plateau since 2000. We are honored to co-sponsor this event with UCLA’s Lewis Center for Regional Policy Studies and the LGBTQ Campus Resource Center.
