Hi Friend, I just wanted to make sure that you saw Rose’s important message.

Yesterday, the Texas Democratic Party launched their Let the People Register initiative with the goal of printing half a million voter registration cards and sending them to every corner of our state.

I’m so frustrated at yet another failure from our Republican government, but I’m really proud that our Texas Democratic Party is stepping up to pick up the slack.

Friend, as you know this is just the latest in Republicans’ countless efforts to stop Texans from making their voices heard. But we won’t stand idly by while they attempt to silence those that are ready to vote them out.

I’m reaching out to you to show my support for this initiative and encourage you to do the same. Texas Democrats still need your support to reach our goal of sending half a million voter registration cards. With every dollar you give we can help six Texas Democrats register to vote. Every dollar counts.

So, can we count on you to rush a $7 contribution to the emergency Let the People Register fund so we can print and send 42 registration cards to new Texas voters?

Subject: voter registration emergency!

Hi Friend,

Last week, Texas proved to be ground zero for voter suppression yet again.

The State of Texas announced they’ll only be printing a very limited number of voter registration applications for distribution, blaming “paper shortages.” They’ve left civic engagement organizations, volunteer deputy registrars, and county parties woefully under-supplied.

But the Texas Democratic Party is committed to registering hundreds of thousands of voters in 2022, regardless of who or what stands in our way. That’s why we’re setting a goal of printing half a million voter registration cards and sending them to communities across the state -- through our Let the People Register initiative.

Every ONE dollar you contribute means we can get SIX Texans a voter registration card. Will you help 42 Texans register to vote by chipping in $7?

It’s so important that these get printed. The more we raise, the more cards we can print -- and the more Texans who can show up at the ballot box in November to say enough is enough.

If we’re going to make up for the failures of our Republican government, we need your help. We need to bring thousands of new Texans to the polls this year, but without the supplies we need, Texans can’t do the crucial work of registering new voters.

So I’m asking: will you rush a $7 contribution to our emergency Let The People Register fund and sponsor 42 new voters before our January 31st deadline?

Friend, plain and simple: Republicans are trying to make it harder for Texans to vote.

They know their days in power are numbered. They know this movement, our movement, is growing stronger every day and that we're committed to electing Democrats up and down the ballot.

We’re fighting back, and I hope we can count on you in this fight.

Let’s keep going,
