Homeownership often get placed on the back burner in our industry, even though it’s a critical opportunity that can help address wealth inequities. Homeownership also has the potential to provide long-term stable housing to low-income households. This event will examine affordable homeownership policies and programs and opportunities to support and expand these housing types. We’ll also explore community land trust, limited equity cooperative, sweat equity, and below market rate inclusionary ownership programs in California as well as their nuances and advantages. |
