The Ohio Supreme Court’s decision earlier this month to throw out the GOP’s proposed new maps for gerrymandering is a huge win for Ohio voters, but I want to be clear:

We can’t let our guard down.

The Ohio GOP has already approved new legislative maps that still give Republican politicians an advantage in future elections and don’t represent the will of Ohio voters.

In the face of new voter suppression laws on the books and partisan gerrymandering happening across the country, we need to be even more focused on organizing for 2022 to elect Dignity of Work candidates up and down the ballot, in Ohio and nationwide.

After all, it was grassroots support that powered our campaign to victory in 2012 -- when we faced down $40 million in conservative attack ads -- and again in 2018 when we won in a state Trump won by eight points.
