Republican legislators in Kansas recently met to propose a redistricting measure with an eye towards weakening NewDem Rep. Sharice Davids’ chances of winning reelection.

This redistricting scheme could effectively slice Democratic voters from a swing district in the Kansas-City area, giving Republicans an advantage in taking the House majority from Democrats.

Sharice is the only Democrat in the Kansas congressional delegation, and a powerful force for good governance in the House. We can’t risk losing her.
