Hey, John. One year ago last week, Joe Biden was sworn in as President.

Since then, despite what the GOP wants you to believe, Democrats have actually managed to deliver for Americans on several really important issues. And, it’ll create 2+ million jobs annually for the next 10 years!

In this political climate, with the slimmest of majorities, successfully passing two huge bills that deliver help to Americans who need it is…actually not bad at all!

Now, don’t get me wrong: we have a long, long way to go to provide people with the help they need. While the House has passed bills to tackle healthcare, voting rights, climate change, worker protections, housing, and more, legislation on these issues has been stuck in Senate gridlock thanks to the antiquated filibuster and zero GOP support.

But don’t believe for one second that Republicans have anything planned but pure obstructionism if they succeed in taking back the House and making Kevin McCarthy speaker.
