But since you’re here, why not hear me out? I promise I’ll keep this brief.

I don’t believe the right way to run a campaign is to go out and ask big donors for massive contributions. It has to start small and from the ground up.

The vast majority of my supporters are grassroots donors, like you. This campaign is powered by $3, or $10, or $25 at a time. In fact, our campaign’s average monthly donation is just $23.65 in January.

It doesn’t take much from any one person — and it’s because there are thousands of dedicated supporters chipping in together.

That’s how campaigns are supposed to work. It’s why we’ll always be stronger than a Republican campaign with just as much financial support — because while they have corporate PACs to write big checks, the people chipping in $5 a month to our campaign are much more important. They work hard to elect Democrats and they vote.

To put it simply, we have the people on our side. We have you. And I couldn’t be more proud of that.
