January is coming to a close and election day 2022 is now a mere 9 months away. With so much riding on control of Congress, my team and I are working hard, but have yet to reach my end of the month fundraising goal. 

 

Republicans in Washington, and in eastern Connecticut, are in overdrive and laser focused on winning back the House in 2022, by winning districts like mine. This past November the National Republicans put us on their target list. 

 

This month, Kevin McCarthy’s fundraiser at the Trump Hotel, raised nearly $10 million, in just one night. This is after setting an off-election year record of $72.4 million in fundraising in 2021. 

 

For $100,000 a head, far right donors – who are dead set on stopping climate change reform, restricting women’s reproductive rights and blocking tax fairness – crowded around McCarthy as he laid out his plans for a Republican majority in the House, under his command. 

 

If we don’t hold the line, the cost of calling McCarthy “Mr. Speaker” will be devastating. This is why I am asking for your help. Will you contribute so I can reach my end of the month goal?
