A school board in Tennessee has voted unanimously to ban a cartoon book called Maus. Maus was written and illustrated by Art Spiegelman and is the story of his parent’s experiences during the Holocaust.
As the world marked the 77th year since the liberation of Auschwitz yesterday, our CEO Ruth Smeeth ([link removed]) wrote about the importance of a true and honest account of the Holocaust, even if it involves coarse language, graphic depictions and challenging imagery.
