My name is Drew, and I’ve been on Team Ro since the very beginning. So believe me when I say our progressive movement has never been stronger
We are closer than ever to passing transformative legislation that would fundamentally transform our broken systems. From Medicare for All to a Green New Deal, our movement has grown from “radical ideas” held by outsiders to common-sense policy recognized by almost everyone in this country.
Not to mention the fact that these ideas are POPULAR! A 2019 poll from Data for Progress showed a majority of all voters (Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and everyone in between) would be more likely to re-elect their representative if they co-sponsor the Green New Deal.1
And Politico polls from 2021 show 68% of all voters (again, from both sides of the aisle) support a single-payer health care system, similar to Medicare for All.2
Simply put: We can’t afford to slow down now.
Our finance team tells me that, if we raise an additional $6,218 before Monday at midnight, we’ll have the resources to keep up our fights for policies like Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, a $15/hr minimum wage, and so much more.
If just one out of every three people reading this email donate what they can, we will reach our goal before the deadline, demonstrate the true strength of our grassroots power, and have what it takes to keep up our righteous fights.
