Earlier this week, my team gave you a heads up about Rep. Donald Payne Jr.’s latest high dollar fundraiser.

Well, tonight’s the night.

Tonight, Rep. Payne Jr. will host his $5,000 per plate fundraiser, proving once again that he cares more about raking in high-dollar donations than serving our communities.

And before his first guests arrive, I thought I’d give you all a challenge.

As you know, our January fundraising deadline is coming up fast. And we’re still $10,287 short of our goal — the equivalent of just TWO donors attending Rep. Payne Jr.’s fundraiser.

If 182 of our grassroots supporters chip in $27 before the fundraiser starts, we’ll be on track to meet our January goal and keep up our fight for real progressive change. And we’ll do it without any help from corporate donors, anti-union companies, or major polluters.
