It’s no secret, John: corporate special interests are big fans of our opponent, Republican Senator Thom Tillis.

And now, there’s a new shady player coming to his rescue with a big pot of cash: the largest lobbying group in the country, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

This group, joined by Mitch McConnell’s dark money network, are propping up our opponent just like they did when he first ran for Senate in 2014. He won with their help then. We can’t let them get away with using the same successful playbook now.

Tillis is desperate, vulnerable, and struggling to win, which is why wealthy corporate interests are spending everything they can to help him. Because when they did it the first time around, he returned the favor tenfold — putting their interests above the interests of North Carolina families in the Senate.

Whether it was voting to throw our health care system into chaos or gut protections for people with pre-existing conditions or pass a tax plan that benefited the wealthiest few — he has voted in lockstep with their agenda.
