We also cannot forget the Jews murdered by the Nazis' Arab collaborators, led by Haj Amin al-Husseini, in Jerusalem, Hebron, Tiberias, and other cities in Israel in the 1920s through 1940s; as well as the numerous Jews murdered in pogroms in Arab nations. In more recent times, the killing continues with Arab terrorists murdering Jews in Israel – incited by the Palestinian Authority's heinous payments to terrorists to murder Jews and Americans, and glorification of terrorists. We've also seen horrible murders of Jews by Muslim terrorists in France and elsewhere in Europe; and the recent murders of Jews by Islamist, left wing and right wing terrorists in the United States. It is too horrible, too much to bear. But we must continue to strengthen ourselves; support our Jewish brethren in Israel and throughout the world, and right here in the United States; and fight the scourge of Jew-hatred until – in the words that President George Washington quoted from the Bible (Micah 4:4) in his letter to the Jews of Rhode Island – “everyone shall sit in safety under his own vine and fig tree, and there shall be none to make him afraid.” About Us News Videos ZOA Report Events Founded in 1897, ZOA played a key role in the Jewish State's re-establishment.
