January flew by – and now, as we approach the end of the month, I’m taking a moment to pause and reflect. If there’s anything we’ve learned this month, it’s that our fight for progress in 2022 isn’t going to come easy. But that’s not news to those of us who’ve been working in the trenches for years.
Republicans in Congress continue to work to undermine our democracy and make voting less accessible – especially in Latino and Black communities. Immigrants are still waiting for us to fulfill our promise of a pathway to citizenship. And we have an election coming up this year, where I’ll be campaigning in a redrawn district with new voters that I’ll need help introducing myself to.
We have big fights ahead of us, but no matter what, I know that we’ll be able to meet any challenge if we stand together. Will you donate today to help me finish the month strong?
